Erin Horil: Training The Mind
-A couple months ago I completed Ironman 70.3 North Carolina and switched focus to training for a Draft Legal Sprint Triathlon. When speaking with Michael about goals, he told me I would need to commit to swimming 5-6 days a week for the next four months. This was quite shocking considering I had only been swimming 2-3 days a week at best leading into North Carolina. My head swirled with negativity. I’d be spending precious hours in a cold pool swimming. I feared that I didn’t have would it would take to commit to something that was so daunting for me.

Endorphin Fitness Banquet Recap
-Thank you to all who attending the banquet this weekend. It was a wonderful evening of celebrating the success we had as a team in 2017. Together with both our adult and youth programs, we achieved a world championship title, a team national title, 7 individual national championship titles, 3 Kona slots, and countless personal records. More importantly, we guided tons of athletes to their first finish line and hopefully taught each of you that you are capable of more than you thought possible. Also, together we raised tremendous funds for worthy causes such as the VA Home for Boys & Girls, United Athletics, The Speak Up Foundation, and others. 2017 was a great year.
