We hope everyone had a great July 4th! Congratulations to all of our athletes that raced this weekend! We had athletes race in the Senior Crit Championships, USA Cycling National Championships, a Bermuda Triathlon, Connecticut Criterium Championships, the Bishops 5k, the Freedom Run 10k, 2nd Annual Independence Day Classic and a July 4th 5k.
Matthew Piper, Coleson Lindsey, and Presley Evans all traveled to Kentucky for the USA Cycling National Championships. Presley raced all three days taking 2nd in the time trial, 2nd in the road race, and 2nd in the crit with amazing performances. Coleson and Matthew raced the time trial taking 30th and 69th in their age categories respectively.
The King Family represented EF well at the 2nd Annual Independence Day Classic at the Shirley Plantation. Dane King was 3rd overall, Haley King and Lindsay King were both second in their age groups, Denny King first in his age group and Donna King had a great race!
Kai Dove was 1st in the 11-12 age group at the MABRA Senior Crit Championships
Nick Pilgrim raced a local triathlon in Bermuda posting his fastest time ever on the course and taking the win.
Eloise de Landevoisin Campbell and Kieran Haug raced the Connecticut Criterium Championships. Eloise took 2nd in her age group and Kieran 1st with a big win!
John McMurry was 2nd overall in the Bishops 5k running within seconds of a PR on a very hilly course.
Bethy Vallejo was 2nd in her AG at the Freedom Run 10k
Greg Mathe raced in a July 4th 5k with a great time.
