Happy Fathers’ Day Weekend everyone! Congrats to all our athletes and dad-athletes that raced this weekend. We have races to report on this weekend, including the Luray Swim Fest, local track and field meets, running races, and triathlons too! Let’s get started.
Carson Everman had a strong race at the Indy Sprint Triathlon with a 2nd place finish in her age group.
Presley Evans set several PRs in his swim meet this weekend.
We had a ton of awesome results from the Luray Swim Fest! Katie Gage took 3rd overall in the 2250m as well as 1st in her AG at the 1500. Emme Cate Heilburn placed 2nd overall in the 1500m, 1st in her AG in the 2250m, and 2nd in her AG in the 750m. Sade Smith took 3rd in her AG in the 1500m as well as the 750m.
Coach Michael Harlow and his son Caleb Harlow won the father-son category at the Thanks Dad 5k. Ellie Harlow won the kid’s run followed by Austin Harlow in 4th and Oliver, Paxton, and Mya Harlow close behind.
At the Chesty Puller 10k, Monica Woodward came away with a very strong showing in hot conditions!
At New Balance Nationals, Colby Burcham ran extremely well in the 4X1mi relay, as well as the distance medley relay!
