Just a few race results to report on from this week. Nonetheless, congrats to all our athletes who raced! Let’s get started.
Mark Dupuis crushed his race this weekend at the Love of Chocolate half marathon. He used this as a prep race for his upcoming marathon, and perfectly executed his race plan! He even got 5th in his age group using a marathon pacing strategy!
At the Region Championships for 5A, both Jake Schindel and Colby Burcham led their team to the 4X800 overall win, posting a national time.
Burcham turned around and won the 1600 with a time of 4:16, with Schindel right behind in 4:21! Schindel turned around and posted a great 1000 time as well!
Anneliese Rogerson, Kieran Haug, and Alexandra Poole all had strong swim meets this week. Anneliese set PRs in several events! Alexandra Poole also had strong track meet as well setting a PR in the 3k.
