Several strong swim meets for EF athletes this weekend including Presley Evans, Zach Fisher, Cooper Albright, Parker Albright, Alexandra Poole, Kieran Haug and Ian Henderson. Cooper set a PR in the 50 free and 100 back, Parker set a PR in the 200 free, and Kieran set a PR in the 500, 200, and 100 free. Ian placed 1st in every event, and set a PR in every event. In the 500 free, he dropped 47 seconds to a 7:11 time!
Caleb McGaskill and Rex Nguyen raced the Gilly’s Creek Cyclocross Race with Caleb taking a dominant win by over 3 minutes. Rex finished a strong 5th despite losing his front brake mid-race. In the middle school division, Ian and Olivia Henderson both had a strong race.
Coach Michael Harlow, Jim Fisher, and Alex Murdock raced the infamous Bear Creek 10 Mile Trail race on Sunday. All three had great races! Coach Michael finished a strong 3rd overall, Jim finished 3rd overall masters, and Alex finished 5th in his age group.
