Strong races for many Endorphin Fitness athletes this past weekend at XTERRA Costa Rica, VA High School MTB Series, Manassas Runway 10k, Bermuda Continental Cup, Crush’n Run 5k, Early Bird Tri, Chrystal City 5k, Hapalua Half Marathon, several middle / high school track events, and the Healthy Kid’s Run Series.

 

Coach Parker and Greg Schott raced XTERRA Costa Rica this weekend with Greg pacing 8th among the professional triathletes. Coach Parker was in 3rd before being misdirected on the run course and was unfortunately disqualified. He still had a great race overall!

 

Coleson Lindsey took a strong 2nd place at the VA High School Mountain Bike Series season opener at Miller School.

 

Katie Palavecino had a 10k PR and finished 5th overall at the Manassas Runway 10k

 

In the first ever Bermuda Continental Cup, Nick Pilgrim had a strong race finishing 2nd in the Junior race.

 

Allyson Whitfield had a great day at the Crush’n Run 5k.
Carson Everman opened up the triathlon season with the Early Bird Tri taking 1st in her age group.

 

Allan Ng set another 5k PR at the Chrystal City 5k.

 

Samantha Kayne raced in the “I Ride for David TT’ and PR’ed on the course claiming 1st for the girls.

 

In middle/high school news, Kylie Bonser, Lucy Poh, Emily Whitty, Colby Burcham, and Lauryn Nelson all ran PR’s in their respective events this week. Lucy Poh also set the school record in the 800m. Gena Casagrande had a strong performance in the SoCal Ragnar Relays.

 

Bethy Vallejo put in a huge effort and had a strong result at the Hapalua Half Marathon.

 

Another big week at the Healthy Kids Run Series.  In the Pre-K race, Colby Harlow took 6th with a strong race.  In the K-1st race, Zach Fisher took his first win with a big PR on the boy’s side, and on the girl’s side, Ellie Harlow took 2nd (PR) followed by Hattie Wells took 10th.  In the 2nd-3rd grade race, Riggs Ukrop took 2nd followed by Cannen Harlow in 5th with a PR.  On the girl’s side, Hadley Harlow took 5th, Hazel Gillespie 6th (PR), and Austin Harlow 7th (PR).  In the 4th-5th grade race, Luke Craven took the win (PR), Patrick Harlow 3rd, Caleb Harlow 6th, and Armistead Butler 7th with an almost 2 min PR.  On the girl’s side, Maddie Fisher took the win (PR) followed by Hazel Wells in 2nd and Campbell Rowe in 4th tying her PR.  In the middle school race, Luke Munro took 2nd.
