Strong weekend of racing with several running events at the United for Unos 5k, St Mary’s Half Marathon, We Heart Harley 5k, Carytown 10k, High School Meets, Novo, Nordick New Jersey Marathon, and the Healthy Kids Run Series. In addition, we had athletes compete at the Hammer Duathlon and VAHS MTB Series Massanutten.

The youth team had an amazing weekend at the Healthy Kids Run Series with tons of PRs.  In the Pre-K race, Colby Harlow got 5th.  In the K-1st division, Zach Fisher won on the boy’s side (PR) and Ellie Harlow took 3rd (PR) followed by Hattie Wells in 9th (PR) on the girl’s side.  In the 2nd-3rd grade division, Riggs Ukrop took 2nd (PR), Cannen Harlow 4th (PR), and Brown Ukrop 6th (raced up) on the boy’s side, and on the girl’s side Hadley Harlow took 4th (PR), Hazel Gillespie 5th (PR), and Austin Harlow 11th.  In the 4th – 5th grade division, Luke Craven took 1st (PR), Patrick Harlow 4th (PR), Caleb Harlow 7th, and Armistead Butler 10th (PR) on the boy’s side while Maddie Fisher won (PR), Hazel Wells took 3rd (PR), and Campbell Rowe 6th (PR) on the girl’s side.  Luke Munroe took another big win with a PR in the middle school race as well.

At the United for Unos 5k, Jeff Urkop finished an amazing 10th overall while Brown Ukrop won the kid’s race!

Erika Jurkowski had a great run at the St. Mary’s Half Marathon.

Sarah Look ran another 5k PR at the We Heart Harley and Friends 5k!

Michelle Fang and Alex Tan had strong races at the Carytown 10k! Alex took 2nd in his age group.

Kathy Scourby won her age group in the Hammer Duathlon in Tennessee.

Lauryn Nelson ran a PR in the 800 at the Douglas Freeman meet, along with Colby Burcham running very strong in route to a 4X800 victory!

Heather Williams ran a Boston Qualifier at the Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon with an impressive 3:27!!

Endorphin Fitness swept the elementary school and middle school races at the VAHS MTB Series Massanutten with Presley Evans and Coleson Lindsey both winning their respective divisions. Jude Gillespie also placed super high in the elementary school race taking 6th.
