At Louisville Ironman, Bill Moslow, Greg Mathe, Lynn Ferguson, and Jerry Bryant all had fantastic races. Greg set a PR! This was the first Ironman for Jerry and Lynn – congrats!

At the Crucible Triathlon, John Howe raced the sprint triathlon as an awesome finale to his season by racing each leg aggressively and PR’ing on the run even after taking a tumble on the wet, slippery course!

Several strong High School XC races this weekend from EF athletes. Nick Pilgrim, Emily Whitty, Lauryn Nilson, and Chase Brooksbank, Eloise de Landevoisin Campbell, Ben Poling, Kieran Haug, and Ethan Haug had strong races. Emily Whitty and Ethan Fraser set big PRs. Kieran, Nick, and Ben all won their races.

Nick Pilgrim came back the day after his XC win to take 2nd overall and 1st in his age group at the Around The Sound 2k open water swim!

Kylie Bonser and Heather Williams both competed in the Step Up for Down Syndrome 5k finishing 3rd and 5th overall respectively.

Joshua Gray took 6th overall and first age group in the Hokie Bird 5k setting a big PR of 19:34.

Two of our active duty military athletes, Matt Schiller and Barrett LeHardy had great times in the Army 10 Miler!

Several EF athletes had super strong races at the Charm City Cyclocross race.

Coleson Lindsey finished 14th on Saturday and was then able to improve to a 5th place podium finish on Sunday. Scott Evans finished 27th/117 in his age group on Saturday, and was able to still improve his finish to 14th on Sunday. For the athletes that just participated on Sunday, Grace Sheehy finished 9th in Cat 3/4 women and Lexi Christie finished 29th out of a field of 46. Anne Sheehy finished 20th in the Masters women race. Greg Schott raced the 3-4 race finishing 8th on Saturday and 14th on Sunday with a come from behind race both days.
