Endorphin Fitness athletes had a great weekend of racing! We have a ton of great results to report on, with many races including IM Maryland, IM Chattanooga, the Short Pump Mile, local cross country races, and many others! Let’s get started.

Jill Tarr and Team physical therapist Clarke Tanner raced the Jeremiah Bishop Gran Fondo. Both had strong races, though Jill unfortunately crashed out at mile 68 after a very successful race to that point. Jill is ok!

Alex Tan took 6th overall and 1st age group at the Waterman’s Sprint Triathlon.

Nick Pilgrim qualified for the CARIFTA Games which is a big competition across many sports in for the Caribbean nations. He raced the triathlon Saturday and Aquathlon (turned run after cancelled swim) on Sunday. Nick took the win on Saturday and 6th on Sunday. This win is a big honor for Nick!!

Chad Albright raced Ironman Chattanooga taking 4th in his age group and punching his ticket back to Kona for the Ironman World Champs.

At Ironman Maryland, Mike Fridley finished with a great improvement from Houston this year!  Way to go Mike! Karl Lipscomb had a PR on the bike despite the lingering fatigue from SM100 a few short weeks ago. Sandrine Thominet completed her FIRST 140.6 triathlon in an impressive time of 12:32:36. This is a great accomplishment in and of itself, with a standout time!  Lee White completed the race with a personal record (beating his last time by 18 minutes) of 13:33:38!

At the Paul Short Invite, Joshua Gray and Johanna Lupica took 15th and 18th overall in their respective races (JV and college open).

At the Pocohantas XC Invite, Colby Burcham landed a 3rd overall finish with a huge PR.  Jake Schindel and Connor Doyle had strong races! Caroline Osenga had a huge meet, setting a PR and finishing 10th overall for JV with a PR!

At the Alleghany Invite, Logan White finished strong!  Hope Frost and Cooper Albright also both had strong XC races as well.  Hope took 2nd overall in her race.

Andy Valerie completed an amended version of the Ragnar Relay race, and rolled with the punches as both of his run portion lengths were almost doubled!

We had some awesome results from our youth athletes at the Short Pump Mile!  Hazel Wells took the overall win!  Luke Craven took 1st in his age group, Hattie Wells took 3rd in hers, Andrea Rogerson took 4th in hers, Hadley Harlow took 5th in hers, Lane Jacobs took 8th in hers, and Cannen Harlow had a strong race start to finish.

At the Healthy Kids Run Series, in the pre-k division, Colby Harlow took 6th.  In the K-1st division, Oliver Harlow took 25th and Paxton Harlow 26th both with PRs.  Ellie Harlow took the win in the 2-3rd grade division with a PR.  In the 4-5th grade division, Andrea Rogerson took 1st, Hadley Harlow 2nd, Austin Harlow 3rd, and Ariana Hotchfelder 8th with all running PRs.  In the middle school division, Caleb Harlow took 2nd with a PR on the boy’s side, and Hazel Wells took 1st followed by Anneliese Rogerson in 3rd on the girls side – both ran PRs.
