We had a great weekend of racing! School is back in session for most of our youth athletes, and our adult athletes are gearing up for the last stretch of major team races, including Patriot’s next weekend and IM Maryland and NC at the end of this month and mid October, respectively. This weekend’s races include the 70.3 World Championships in South Africa, the Shenandoah Mountain 100, and several other races! Let’s get started!
At the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, Andrew Rose had a strong race against some of the world’s fastest age group athletes.
Andy Valerie, Jim Fisher, and Karl Lipscomb all had awesome races in the Shenandoah Mountain 100. The race is very difficult, running through 100 miles of mountain bike trails in the George Washington National Forest.
At the Spider Alumni Open, Hannah Lupica grabbed 18th overall, and top freshman overall!
At the Va Beach Rock n Roll Half Marathon, Scott Vanwagner had a great showing in midst of a big training block!
Cooper Albright ran a strong race at the Blue Demon XC Invite taking 8th.
Congrats to all our athletes who raced!
