Endorphin Fitnes Athlete Race Results

March 2nd through March 3rd, 2019

We had an awesome weekend of racing! EF Athletes raced in a variety of climates, from the balmy 80° beaches of Florida to the snowy Colorado mountains. Races included the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge, Power of Four Skimo Race, La Grange Sprint Triathlon, and others. Let’s get started!
At the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge, we had a ton of EF athletes and coaches racing. Most of our athletes and coaches raced in the Elite Development Race. The Elite Development Race is a draft legal race for 16-25 year olds who are vying to compete in the competitive and growing draft-legal scene. It is a competitive field and we’re proud of all our athletes who raced!

Hannah Ye had back to back races placing 7th and 9th.  With two very solid swims, coming out of the water in the front pack.

Chloe Ramirez got 8th and 16th in her first two races of the season!

Emme Cate Heilbrun was 21st and 23rd in her first two races as a Junior Elite!

Sade Smith was 8th overall and 1st in AG in the AG draft legal race on Saturday and then put forth a great effort on Sunday placing 47th in a well executed race!

Coach Erin Horil had strong races both day 1 and day 2 at the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge.  Coach James Crabb led the swim on day 1 but unfortunately crashed out on the bike.

Also in Florida, at the Senior Champ Meet, Megan Buchanan swam all best times and placed in the 1000 and 1650 Freestyles and the 400IM.  She made finals in both the 400IM and 1650Free.

In the Power of Four Skimo Race which was the Skimo National Champs, Katie Elliott and her partner set a new PR and finished 3rd Americans!

Carson Everman took 4th overall in the Collegiate female race at La Grange Sprint Triathlon with a strong race.

Laura Cordes and Jess Small were strong in the One City Half Marathon while Glenn Young and John Edwards also did well at the One City Marathon.

Big swim meets for Alexandra Poole and Kieran Haug at the New England Championships.  Both set PRs with Kieran breaking the 2:00 barrier in the 200 free and the 5:20 barrier in the 500 free and Alexandra went 2:18 on the 200 and 5:53 on the 500!  Big breakthroughs for both.

Congrats to all our athletes who raced!
