We have several races to report on this week. We also have a special non athletic result that our athlete’s coaches wanted to highlight- take a look below! As always, congrats to all our athletes who raced! Let’s get started.
At the Palmetto Relay, Buck Robbins ran some major miles and posted some really good splits!
At the Tiger Trot 5k, Whitney Mylum posted a very strong pace to finish a close second overall!
Mark Dupuis completed the Wichita Chisholm Trail Marathon and had a strong race, placing him 4th in his age group.
Mary Jane Willis completed a reverse order sprint triathlon with the Tri it Now race series and got second in her age group!
Hope Frost has a strong track meet this weekend taking 2nd in the 3200 nearly matching her PR and 1st in the 800 with a new PR.
Tate Frost had a PR in the 3200. Lucy Nunziata places 1st in the JV 1600 and third in the 800 while Gabe Nunziata had a great in his first track meet for middle school.
Isaac Lamprecht ran the ram fam 5K in place seventh overall- way to go Isaac!
We also have a result that is not sports related, but does demonstrate the versatility of our athletes: Emma Weaver won first place at the 2019 VSCA (Virginia Student Councils Association) Oratory Competition held in Virginia Beach this past Saturday. Way to go Emma!
