We had a strong weekend of racing from EF athletes! It was a weekend that turned quite chilly and windy at the end, but we had many of our athletes out at the appropriately named Frostbite 15k. We also have several results from other races- let’s get started!
At the St Chris Invite, Colby Burcham and Jake Schindel let the 4X400 to the overall win. Burcham won the 1000 overall, and Schindel grabbed a state cut in the 500 as well.
At the Key West 13.1, Myles Baker had a strong result with a fast finish!
Josh Gray ran a 5:14 PR on the mile.
Connor Doyle swam a huge 1:44 in the 200m at a Chesterfield swim meet!
Hope Frost ran the infamous VA Showcase with strong finishes in both the 1600 and 3200.
Nick Pilgrim ran Bermuda’s Front Street Mile setting a new PR and taking 5th overall.
Jessica Small crushed the Chill in the Mill Trail Half Marathon this past weekend coming in as the 4th female overall and 1st in her age group. Glenn Young also came in first in his age group at the same race.
At the Frostbite 15k, Diane Johnson raced strong finishing 2nd in her division and Laura Vance took 3rd in her division! Matt Meyers snagged a PR. Alex Lienert had a strong race running a PR and finishing second in his age group. Coach Ryan Middleton ran a huge PR and took second overall! Allan Ng had a strong race to set a new PR. Roger Peterson, Greg McCarthy, Michelle Fang, coach Michael Harlow, Brian Keiper, Jacqueline Bethel, John Caldwell, Charlotte McDannald, Meredith Newcomb, and Sandrine Thominet also completed the 15k.
