It was a strong weekend of racing for our athletes. As always, we are so proud of the hard work our athletes put in every weekend.
Strong swim meets from Presley Evans, Andrea Rogerson, Annika Rogerson, Anneliese Rogerson, and Kieran Haug. Logan White shaved time off of all of her events in the 3A state swim meet, grabbing two 2nd place finishes in relay events. Ian Henderson, Maddie Fisher, Hazel Wells, and Avery May all raced strong at the District Championship meet.
Katie Elliot raced the Mother of All Ascensions race in Colorado, a 2,073 foot Skimo race, taking an impressive 5th overall and 1st age group. Jason Elliot also participated in the Mother of All Ascensions. Jason kept it controlled as it was a recovery week, but receives huge props for completing this on a recovery week!
We had several athletes race in MotorCross at Pocahontas State Park this weekend. Scott Evans got the overall win at the 25-mile distance! Andy Valerie grabbed first in his age group and second overall. Danielle Sparkman ran the 9 mile trail race at MonsterCross placing 6th for females. Jake Dysart also had a strong finish. Way to go!
Colby Burcham ran a PR in the 1600 and a very solid time for the 3200 in the regional indoor meet! Nice work here!
