Happy first week of December to all our athletes, and congrats to all athletes who raced! We still have some running races and a few swim meets to report on this week. Our juniors also ran and walked down Broad Street in the Christmas parade this weekend, so give them a hand! Let’s take a look at all the results.
Cooper and Chad Albright took 1st and 3rd overall respectively at the Jingle Bell 5k in Roanoke. Way to go guys!
We had strong swim meets from several EF athletes including Presley Evans, Hope Frost, Kieran Haug, Alexandra Poole, Anneliese Rogerson, Andrea Rogerson, and Annika Rogerson.
Nick Pilgrim qualified for the infamous Front Street Mile despite taking a fall on the 3rd lap of the qualifier.
Megan Buchanan competed in the Gator Swim Club Holiday Classic at University of Florida. She placed 7th in the mile and made finals in the 100 and 500 Free finishing 13th in both events and achieved best times in 5 events throughout the weekend.
At the Busch Gardens 8k, Matt Myers set a huge PR!
At the Bear Creek 10 miler, Nina Marino bested her time from last year by 9mins, along with Alex Murdock having a strong result!
