WHAT:
We’ll be hosting master trainer Kolleen Riddick at Endorphin Fitness on May 31st from 4-8pm to learn advanced techniques for self-myofascial release. Myofascial release is a technique shown to relieve muscle and joint pain and improve flexibility and range of motion. Unlike its predecessors, Foam Rolling Principles & Practices and Myofascial Compression Techniques: The Evolution of Foam Rolling, this course covers fundamental principles of human movement science, including anatomy, joint motion, function and dysfunction, and the art of effective assessments utilizing the TriggerPoint MB5 Massage Ball. Participants also receive an MB5 massage roller ball as a part of the clinic.

If you’d like to go deeper with these techniques, you can also register for the Level II course offered the next day on June 1st, from 9am – 5pm. The Level 2 course utilizes the deep tissue TriggerPoint products, which are designed to increase mobility and improve performance through improved biomechanics. This eight hour training is hands-on, focusing on the practical application of TriggerPoint education backed by scientific research. Participants will leave this course with an in-depth knowledge of how to use and how to teach MCT in order to increase the performance and training results their clients receive in sessions.
