I have never been one for new year’s resolutions. It is not that I don’t like setting goals but more that I am always setting goals so new years does not signify a need for action. With that said, I recognize the opportunity the new year presents.
For me, the new year represents hope and dreams and a renewing of the goals I am already working towards. The change of the calendar seems to revitalize our spirit as we look with anticipation at what the new year will bring – things just seem more possible.
I think this is powerful and encourage you to take advantage of it. Think about the goals that have been driving you for a while now as well as possibly some new ones. Now, allow yourself to be hopeful and dream about what the new year will bring for these goals. Dream about what it will look like if you accomplish all of them. This is the first and most important step to accomplishing these dreams – you need to be able to visualize them, to see them, to imagine what it will be like to accomplish them.
Here’s to 2017. Let’s make it a great one [together].
Be More. Live Red.
