HEAD TRIATHLON COACH AND CO-PROGRAM DIRECTOR IN FAIRFAX
Kevin is the Head Coach and Program Director of our Fairfax-Loudoun Team, which began in 2014. During this time his athletes have seen lots of success, National qualifiers, National podium finisher, CAMTRI Top American Finisher, NCAA Club National Champion and NCAA DI athletes. In addition to coaching youth athletes, Kevin has also seen success with adults athletes. Many of his athletes have qualified for the Boston Marathon, USAT Age Group Nationals, Olympica and 70.3 World Championships and completing Half and Full Ironman distances. His knowledge and ability to individualize their programs allows each athlete to perform at their highest potential. Kevin is a USAT Level 2 and Youth & Junior Certified Coach, in addition he is an ASCA Level 2 swim coach. Kevin received his Bachelor’s Degree from George Mason University in Health and Physical Education and his Master’s Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in Sports Management. Kevin began successfully competing in triathlons in 2009, racing in every distance from Sprint to Ironman.
Jason Call has been an endurance athlete for over 25 years, including competing at the high school and collegiate level. Jason’s performance achievement include: 5x USAT Age Group National qualifier, 4x Triathlon Half-Ironman Finisher, 2x Boston Marathon Qualifier and 2x ultra-marathon finisher, Multiple race or series wins and top age group finishes. After college, Jason began creating his own personalized daily training plans, including core strength, mobility exercises, static and dynamic stretching, foam rolling and activation drills. Jackie Bianchi is currently working to obtain her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS) and received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Movement Science from UW-Madison. She has 3 years of experience working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with an emphasis on Powerlifting, CrossFit, Strong Man, and Functional Body Building as well as 2+ years working as a Personal Trainer. She also has experience working as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is both BLS and ACLS certified. In her free time, Jackie enjoys rocking climbing, running, and spending time outside with her dog, Benji.
Mark has been competing in running races since 1983 and competing in triathlons since 1990. He traveled the world competing in all triathlon distances at an elite level racing against the top triathletes in the World at European, and World Championships, and was the fastest British Finisher overall at the Ironman Triathlon World Championships in Hawaii in 2004. Mark has been coaching since 1995, from novice to the elite / professional and was head coach for a large triathlon in the UK for 20 years. Elizabeth Miller is a Richmond native who has never spent much time away from her home turf. She attended Collegiate School and the University of Richmond as a Division 1 Scholarship Athlete. Swim coaching was a big part of her life prior to her career as a pediatric dentist. She has coached all ages from infants to adults in private and group settings. Elizabeth was the head swim coach for the Hermitage Country Club swim team for three summers where she also taught many private sessions for members and their children. Kaitlyn Bauer began swimming competitively at the age of six and has been deeply passionate about the sport ever since. Over the years, she has achieved notable success in both pool and open-water events, excelling at the local level, the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) level, and the national stage as a member of the Lynchburg YMCA Swim Team. Adam Nuckols discovered the joy of distance running in his junior year of high school while competing in Cross Country and Track and earning All-State honors in Arkansas. Adam attended Texas A&M University and completed a degree in Kinesiology and went on to coach high school cross country and track in the state of TX for eight years. Tanner Smith found his love for endurance competition in high school, competing in cross country and track focusing on middle distance races. While in college, he experimented with a wide range of endurance events while racing on the trails and roads from 5Ks to half marathons, and competing on his school’s triathlon team. He even raced a couple ultramarathons in which he secured a second-place finish in his first 50 miler. Jo Ann Rossi is a wife, a mother of three kids, triathlete, and overall fitness enthusiast. Prior to her new-found love of the three-sports, Jo Ann spent several decades focused on learning body control, mobility, and form. From a young age Jo Ann was a dancer, diver, gymnast, and competitive ice skater. Between high school and college, she trained in Lake Placid for ice skating and with the US Ski Team for Freestyle Aerials, and even had a successful audition with Disney on Ice. Zack has been with Endorphin Fitness as a bike mechanic since 2018. Zack came to EF with an education in engineering from the Specialty Center for Engineering at Highland Springs High School and a passion for bikes. He knew how to disassemble and service nearly anything in the bike world. Under the guidance of EF’s chief mechanic, Andrew Wolak, Zack has developed into a master mechanic who can successfully work on any bike that comes into our shop. Michael Harlow is the Founder and Director of Endorphin Fitness. As a USA Triathlon Level II Certified Coach and USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Certified Coach, Michael is regarded as one of the premier triathlon coaches in the country. Michael is the head coach of the Endorphin Fitness Junior Elite High Performance Team which has consistently placed in the top 5 nationally for the past 6 years and the Endorphin Fitness youth team which won the national championship in 2017. Michael has coached hundreds of athletes from age 5-75 across all levels and overseen the coaching of thousands of athletes by his staff. He has taken athletes from beginner to top honors at National & World Championships. Michael’s success lies in his ability to motivate and communicate knowledge effectively across all levels.
ENDURANCE COACH Kyle has been with Endorphin Fitness since 2010. During that time, Kyle has overseen the group and online adult coaching programs at Endorphin Fitness, which have helped athletes of all ability levels find success in triathlon. Kyle’s athletes have qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, the ITU Age Group World Championships, and the Boston Marathon. Kyle has also overseen EF’s beginner programs, which have introduced countless athletes to the sport of triathlon. While in college, she developed a love for mountain biking and running which led to early involvement in adventure racing, non-traditional triathlons, and off-road duathlons. She has competed at all the running distances and all short and long course triathlon distances. Kim’s certifications include: AFAA group Fitness, ACE personal training, Schwinn Cycling, TRX, McGee Running, and is a USA Triathlon certified coach. Kim has guided many youth and adult athletes across all levels to enjoying success in the sport. She has a passion for introducing people to the sport and fostering a lifestyle of fitness.
Ryan came to triathlon through a successful swimming career. Ryan was a record setting swimmer at JMU (qualifying for NCAAs and the Olympic Trials) as well as CAA Rookie of the Year, CAA Swimmer of the Year, JMU’s Male Athlete of the Year (’97) and was inducted into JMU’s Athletic Hall of Fame (2010). Ryan went back to JMU for postgraduate work where he coached the JMU men’s swim team and found mountain biking, cycling, triathlon, and duathlon. Ryan is a master technician in the water helping all levels of athletes reach success on the swim as well as the bike and run.

Sally Fraser discovered the world of triathlon after the birth of her third child. She is a lifelong runner and picked up cycling during her post collegiate years so triathlon was a natural transition and an exciting challenge. Since 2003 she garnered consistent podium spots in short course, long course, on-road and off- road racing, including earning a spot on Team USA.She loves working with youth and beginners in the sport, encouraging them to find and challenge their inner athlete. She understands women who are busy balancing family, work and life and can offer help making triathlon a part of that balanced world.

Jessie began swimming competitively when she was seven years old and has experienced much success as a competitive swimmer, triathlete, and open water swimmer. Erin Horil is a “Double Duke” from James Madison University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Physiology. Erin immediately joined the triathlon club at JMU and quickly found her passion in the sport and the people that surround it. Throughout her grad school years, Erin served as a mentor and eventually held the title of assistant coach for the triathlon club. Her passion for and experience with coaching began at an early age, giving her over 12 years of experience coaching swimmers.
