Growing up through the swim program at Nations Capital Swim Club and training under Olympian Jeremy Linn, James Crabb went on to swim at Virginia Tech as well as qualify and compete in the 2012 Olympic Trials in both butterfly events while pursuing his love of science by majoring in Chemical Engineering.
Coaching since the age of 16, James has had the opportunity to experience swimming at almost every level. From working with children learning to swim for the first time to working with High School athletes qualifying for Olympic Trials, James has learned and adapted his style to teach anyone how to properly “feel the water” to maximize their potential. He is not only USA Swim Coach Level II certified but also ASCA Level I certified. James is sought after for both group and private sessions by swimmers of all levels.
While continuing to compete in open water swimming events, which he usually wins, James also has found great success in triathlon. He is currently an elite age-group triathlete hoping to earn his pro-card soon.
