Doctor of Physical Therapy
One day a running client told Camille that they would “rather see Camille than their physical therapist”. It was a lightbulb moment in which she realized that her clients weren’t receiving the same level of care in the clinic as at the gym. Determined to be a part of the solution, Camille earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mary Baldwin University in 2020. She is passionate about bridging the gap between fitness and medicine. Camille uses functional movement assessment, manual therapy, and integrative movement patterns to unleash her patient’s potential.
Camille doesn’t just talk the talk. She has been an active endurance athlete for 20 years including adventure racing, mountain biking, trail running, rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, road cycling, and hiking. She has participated in multiple races from the road to trail, multisport to time trial. Through it all, she has learned that the value is rarely in the finish line- it is in the decisions to overcome along the way.
These days, Camille and her husband, a Chesterfield firefighter, share their love of the James River Park System and the Blue Ridge Mountains with their two sons. When they’re not upgrading their mini-van for the next camping trip, the crew can often be seen jumping off of paddleboards at Huguenot Flats or riding their bikes to Forest Hill Park.
